Last Sunday 19th May was the annual Yarradale yearling sales at Gidgegannup. It was a beautiful autumn day and the bidding for the yearlings was quite spirited. We acquired the All American/Let's Get Even colt who looks a ready made two year old and is out of the Thunder Guich mare who has had five foals to race, all of them winners, including the Group 3 winning horse in Get Square. We also purchased the Danzero/So Amorous colt who is a half-brother to five winners, including the stakes horses You Sexy Boy and Macau Eagle. Both these horses are on this site in Horses Available.
There is an added advantage to being part of these yearlings for Ron Sayers guarantees to double the stakes money earned in the Karrakatta Plate in 2014. Essentially this lifts the Karrakatta Plate from a $500,000 event to $1,000,000.
