Halushi toughed it out to win a heart-fought 2330m race at Pinjarra on Anzac Day. He ran a terrific second, after doing a lot of things wrong, at Narrogin the previous start, beaten a short half head and five lengths to the third horse. Hopefully this will be the sign of more good things to come as the horses that really stay are not large in number in WA. Sorry we haven’t a picture of Halushi winning but I’ve included a photo of his father, Hala Bek, charging the camera.
