It was a great start to the race meeting at Northam on Thursday when Magic Las Vegas won the first race. It was a tight finish and went to a protest as he was bumped a short distance from the line. However, Lisa Staples’ brilliant ride was rewarded with the decision and Magic Las Vegas broke his maiden. Then in race 4 Lord Ludlow was expertly guided round by Jason Brown for his first win, finishing a length ahead of the second horse. A great day for the stable and our owners.
