On Saturday Lisetta ran a bold race, leading and just getting caught in the shadows of the post. I was very pleased with her performance as she was badly handicapped for this race.
Right Time was loaded first from barrier 7 and was fine for a while but then got a little agitated. Subsequently he was slightly slow away. This meant he had to spend more petrol than necessary to get across and was a little vulnerable first up after using energy in the early part of the race. I'm pleased with his run and he should improve with that under his belt.
The photo included is Lisetta and Right Time frolicking in the paddock with grass up to their knees an hour after Lisetta's race.
