It was a great run from Fire and Rain in his second start to completely demolish a field of two year olds at Bunbury on Wednesday. He jumped well, showed good speed and was challenged hard for the first 600m. But he moved into top gear in the straight and pulled away and won convincingly in a good time. The experience of a previous run and the addition of blinkers allowed this fellow to race truly and show his natural ability. He should have a bright future and we’re looking forward to his next start.
