Right Time ran a great race, starting from a wide barrier, leading and getting beaten by the horse that drew barrier 1 and had the softest of runs and was given tons of room in the straight.
Flag Officer ran second in the Magic Millions 3 year old trophy race. He sat outside the leader doing all the bullocking work and, on straightening, getting laid on by the leader and was bumped on several occasions. In doing this the leader provided a saloon passage for the winner Night War.
In the Magic Millions 2 year old classic we had three runners -Passion Cantata was gallopped on the outside of her near fore in the first 100m. She received a nasty laceration to that leg and was brave in only being beaten by two and three quarter lengths. Foona Lagoon and Spun in the Sun ran incredible races but both show signs of shin soreness this morning.
